Once upon a time, King Kielbasa, the Imperial Head Hot Dog and Grand Duke of the Grill, vanished from the Great Bun Kingdom. Thus begins the mouthwatering adventure of Wiener Salad. Hungry players move their sausage-shaped pawns along a winding path and through a land of sizzling landmarks. Specially designed cards are marked with colorful condiment squares that match the saucy stepping-stone path, or an occasional symbol tied to one of the kingdomβs famous stops. Draw a mustard-yellow chance card, move to the nearest mustard square; draw a pickle spear and take a quick trip to Lady Relishβs Crunchy Garden. Of course, the road to the grill isnβt always smooth: land on the wrong space and you might be stuck in Sauerkraut Slough until someone draws a ketchup-red card to rescue you. With all these tantalizing, bun-filled illustrations kids canβt help but relish the journey. Wiener Salad is a deliciously silly adventure. π
